The Board of Education for Englewood Schools went into executive session at its August 5, 2008, board meeting to discuss its options for the sale of the Flood Middle School property. In spite of a tight market for funding of real estate developments, Englewood Schools has recently received some proposals to purchase the property and is in the process of evaluating its options. Additional information is being collected in order for the Board of Education to be in a position to make a decision that is in the best interest of the students and taxpayers of the District.  The Board of Education has expressed that it will take the necessary time needed to make the best decision for the District.
